Hi Fay: I am a Bell descendant but cannot take the test of course because I'm a female and don't have the Bell name. I'm a Bell through John S. Bell who married Ruth Simpson. Is there proof of the Joseph Bell and Nancy Davenport line? If I can add anything to the research let me know. My Bell surname is a participant of the Bell DNA website, and the only match we have gotten was one with a LONG surname. Our Bells lived in Kentucky County, Virginia, Nelson/Hardin/Grayson Counties in Kentucky. The main town was Elizabethtown, Kentucky.?
