She was Rosemary Shields Kennedy. We had been writing about the BROWN and YOUNG and other Wayne Co., KY families for about 12 years. Many of you will remember her and will miss her too. It was largely her generous financial contribution in memory of her son, Wm. Crenshaw Kennedy, Jr., that enabled the museum to become a reality. It is an excellent source of local history and genealogy. Anna Bertram

Anna, I am so sorry to hear this about Rosemary Shields Kennedy passing away. I am also sorry that I never had the chance to meet her. She was totally loved and respected. Thanks for the below information. I shall go to the website and see what I shall see. I ordered a book on Fentress Co. TN from a gentleman on Amazon.com, was so excited, I never received it though, and am getting a refund. I am so disappointed because I thought maybe I could find some other information on the mystery of Silas and Adeline Maynard. Will have to try again to get that book.
