Hi Anna and group. I have two ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary War from the Cumberland Area but died before 1840. Joshua Jones who has a brass plaque in front of the City Hall in Monticello and Dudley Stephens of Jabez, Russell Co, KY. Six more who fought from Virginia, including one who was at Valley Forge along with his two brothers, one of whom died there.
