I am searching for any information on the Fowler family from Fentress County TN that moved to Wayne County KY about the turn of the century - between 1890 and 1900. James Fowler b? d. 1894-1900 married Sarah Belle Reno b. May 30, 1865 Fentress Co., TN d. Oct 27, 1946 New Castle, Indiana. After James Fower's death, Sarah married James R. Hill of Wayne Co., KY before 1910. This was James Hill's 2nd or 3rd marriage. He had several children from previous marriage(s). James R. Hill and Sarah had one child named Ruby Gadys Hill who was disabled at about age 12. Children from James Fowler and Sarah Belle Reno Jane Fowler married Sampy Bridgeman. They stayed in Monticello. Benjamin Harrison Fowler married Dora Daniel (d/o george and Lucy Belle Daniel). Harrison and Dora lived in Slickford, Monticello, Shearer Valley, Haldigo, and Susy, KY Marion Oda Fowler b. 1984-1896 Jamestown, Fentress Co, TN married unknown before 1920 (I believe she died as a result of falling in a hole), was raised by a Huffaker couple (possibly Ike Huffaker), went to school in Wayne Co., entered Amry 1918, Wayne Co., KY, sang in a traveling quartet, relocated to New castle, IN, married Grace Blackburn about 1921 pobably in New Castle IN, Also, would like info on John Fowler and Myrtle Reno family. Also, Fowlers in Clinton Co., mountain area. Joshua (Jop) Fowler Known sons, William, Oakley, and Ben I believe Joshua's son, Ben Fowler was the deputy sheriff executed in 1927 by the state of TN for a murder conviction in Scott Co., TN If you have any info for the family names mentioned here please let me know.
