From: "Troxell, Alice Jane" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, June 02, 2003 1:55 PM Subject: Information on Henry Troxell and Jessie Ethel Troxell Our family (Jane Troxell & Jessie Crabtree) are seeking information on the following people that are buried in the Alexander Cemetery next to our brother Thomas Landon Troxell. Two of our father's brothers and his parents are buried there along with a 2-day old baby which was the first born child to Frank and Ona Troxell. Lyle Troxell Born: March 8, 1915 (??) (Maybe spelled Henry Lysle Troxell) Died: ___________________ Ned Troxell Born: Sept. 15, 1917 (??) (Maybe Ned Dean Troxell) Died: ___________________ Their Father : Henry F. Troxell Born: Approximately 1885 or 1886 Died: Jan. 7, 1953 (one record said Jan. 22) Their Mother: Jessie Ethel Harris Troxell Born: Approximately 1889 or 1890 Died: ________________________ Henry Troxell's Parents: Frank Lee and Mollie Gibson According to some records Henry Troxell married Jessie Ethel Harris on May 20, 1906. He was 21 and she was 17. Jessie Harris's grandmother was Sally Harris. She lived with her at one time. There was also a baby buried close to Tommy. Supposedly died at 2 days old. Supposedly born April 26, 1924. Died April 28, 1924 Born to Ona and Henry Troxell. Ona was Grandpa Henry's second wife. She is buried in Elk's Spring Cemetery. Henry & Ona were married June 20, 1923. Any information would be appreciated. Currently there is a mix up about the location of the graves and someone else was buried there. We need to get this resolved as soon as possible. Thank you. Jane Troxell, Indianapolis, IN Jessie Crabtree (Mrs. Walter Crabtree, Jr. of Milton, IN) Daughters of Ruth Sumpter Troxell and Leland W. Troxell of Monticello. Both are buried in the Crabtree Cemetery.
