MUNCIE (Indiana) - Everett Dishman, 75, passed away Sunday (January 5, 2003) at Liberty Village Health Care after a long illness. Mr. Dishman attended Northside Church of God. Before his retirement, he worked as a fork lift driver in the warehouse at Indiana Glass Corp. in Dunkirk. Before that, he worked at Ball Brothers Corp. for 20 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Susie J. Dishman; daughter, Roberta J. Dishman (special friend: Jack Williamson), Muncie; sons, Ricky L. Dishman, (wife: Jenny), Royerton; Jerry Dean Dishman (special friend: Linda), Muncie; and Jimmy Everett Dishman, Muncie; daughters, Karen Ann Doggett (husband: Rickie L.) Muncie, and Sharon Lynn Armstrong (husband: Tem), Muncie; three sisters, Barbara Dishman, Monticello, Ky.; Imogene Reno (husband: Quitman), Muncie; and Christine Bertram (husband: Ulan), Monticello, Ky.; two brothers, Ed Dishman, New Castle, and Willard Dishman (wife: Thelma), Muncie; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Dishman was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Ova Dishman; two sisters, Beulah Stinson and Eula Dishman; and two brothers, Gilbert and Darryl Dishman. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Garden View Funeral Home with Tony Dishman of Fairlawn Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Garden View Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Delaware County Cancer Society-Little Red Door
