Hello List: I would like to re-introduce myself. My name is Marilyn (Gregory) Fisher and I am the new County Coordinator for the Wayne County KYGenWeb site. I have been researching my family history in Wayne County for several years. I live in Indiana, but my parents were born and raised near Coopersville in Wayne Co. My ancestry dates back to about 1803 within the county. My husband and I visit the Monticello area several times a year to visit family and for research. I spend a great deal of time at the county courthouse and visiting the old family cemeteries. I mainly research the Gregory surname, but I'm also connected to the Barrier (Byers), Bell, Lewis, Roberts, and Slagle families. A big thank you to Jim Poore for all of his hard work over the past few years. With his permission I will keep some of his projects and will add many of my own.
