Is anyone out there researching the Burk/Burke/Burkes family? I am particularly interested in the family of Eph Burk/Burke who was married to Rhoda Bell and Buna Williams. Eph had two children with 1st wife Rhodie. Their names were Teddy and Elsie. We know Teddy was raised by his grandparents Wm & Nancy Chriswell Bell and that he died as a teenager in 1929. There is an Elsie Burke buried next to him. I would like to know if this is his sister and is it the same Elsie Burke (or Ocie Mae Burke) killed by Clyde Carter in 1934?
