Hello list, Just wanted to tell you that I found my elusive g-g-father's mother and father names in Salt Lake City, Utah. I went to visit my brother there, went to the geneology building and up it popped, after all of this time! Silas Maynard, Mainord.....who did marry his cousin Adeline Maynard, was the fatlher of my g-grandfather James Maynard. Silas' father's name was also Silas and his 2nd wife's name was Delila ROBERTS, and she is the mother of my g-g-grandfather, Silas!!!!!!Now that does leave me some food for thought. I have never found any trace of the 2nd wife before this. They are originally from Wake, North Carolina. William Mainord (my g-g-g-g-grandfather)came from Devonshire, England. I am so excited, I could spit!!!!!!!!!!!! Just wanted all of you to know, those who have tried to help me, the great news! Have a great day, Lea Roberts
