Hi, I just wanted to let everyone know that I have solved somewhat the mystery of the Bell that Salina Caroline Christian married. After literally browbeating the list last week about a lookup, I found out from my friend that Bell was just the last name she chose for her children when she moved to Reynolds County, Missouri. Rumor in the family says that none of the four children resembled each other, although Riley did look like his half-sister Annie. So William b1892, Wesley b1895, Riley b1899, and Joseph b1905 Bell are in need of a real father, whomever he may be! Wendy p.s. I did my penance already.
