    3. Hello Wayne Co., I would like very much to open a line of communication with other ALEXANDER descendants. Below is a short accounting of my line believed to have been from the Wayne Co., area. I'm not certain if, "my" WILLIAM RILEY ALEXANDER, (b. 1838), listed below is the same William Riley Alexander who served in, Company 12th Kentucky Infantry of the Union Army - Civil War, and was mustered the 30th of Jan, 1862, from Camp Clio, KY. WILLIAM RILEY ALEXANDER, (Kentucky), is listed as his, "father" on Samuel Alexander's Death Certificate. I have a copy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- WILLIAM ALEXANDER (b. abt 1749), married BARBARA ROLLEN. (Their son)..... ARRIS ALEXANDER, (b. 1794), married MAHALA LOVING. (Their son)..... THOMAS ALEXANDER, (b. bef 1820), married AMANDA LAIR. (Their son - my ancestor)..... WILLIAM RILEY ALEXANDER, (b. 1838 ), married ELIZABETH TUTTLE. (Children of William Riley Alexander and Elizabeth Tuttle): 1. JAMES THOMAS ALEXANDER,(b. 1859), married MARY WITHERS 2. WILLIAM HUFFMAN ALEXANDER, married twice..... (1) Elizabeth Withers, (2) Nancy Jane Withers. 3. SAMUEL ALEXANDER, (b. 1858), married ELIZA APPLEGATE. (My ancestor)..... Samuel Alexander and his family migrated from Kentucky to Missouri, and finally to north eastern Oklahoma where they are buried. Thank you for any assistance given.
