I noticed from the postings that there is a discussion of Avarilla Davis, daughter of Robert Davis and Avarilla Wood, born about 1801 in Morgan County, TN. What interests me is to see if there is a connection of the Avarilla Wood (b. abt. 1801) to Belfield Wood, Jr. (b. abt. 1815 in KY) who married Sarah Brummitt (b. abt. 1821) in KY. Belfield, Jr. and Sarah also had a daughter named Avarilla who was born abt. 1837. These are such similar names I was wondering if Belfield Wood, Jr. had a family connection to the Avarailla Wood who married Robert Davis. I have that Belfield Wood, Jr. was supposed to be the son of Belfield Wood, Sr. and Nancy Kidwell. Belfield Wood, Sr (b. abt. 1752) was married previously before he married Nancy Kidwell, and many of the Fentress County, TN Wood families descend from him. Brenda
