    3. I have a typed copy of a handwritten document that is titled "State Historical Society of Wisconsin, Madison Draper Collection" with the number 68846 or 63346 below it. The information has been copied from a legal document done in January, 1834 in Wayne County, KY and refers to one Peter Cattron taking an oath before a Justice of the Peace (Roger Oatts) affirming that Peter was, in fact, a volunteer as a "private malitia man" in the state of Virginia, Montgomery County, for three months in the 1776. It goes on to give the name of his captain (Walter Crocket) and his Lieutenant (William Campbell) and tells about marching through the country looking for indians. Further on it mentions a Captain Charles Hudson and some of the battles that he participated in as an officer in the British Navy in 1780. Would you have any idea how or where to locate the original of this document? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Regards, Ken Hudson Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA [email protected]
