Crossville (TN) Chronicle obit... Morris E. Ringley Dec. 7, 1917 - May 25, 2004 Morris Elmer Ringley, 86, of Fairfield Glade, passed away May 25, 2004. Graveside services were conducted May 27 at Green Acres Memory Gardens. Mr. Ringley was born Dec. 7, 1917 in Pickett County, TN, the son of Lawrence E. and Retta M. Hill Ringley. He was a press operator for Trade-A-Plane and was of the Protestant faith. He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II. Survivors include his daughter, Donna Johnson of Powell, TN; sons, Bill Ringley of Tampa, FL and Barry Ringley of Colorado Springs, CO; six grandchildren; and brother, Kirby Ringley of Monticello, KY. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Conaster Ringley; sisters, Thelma Hedgecoth, Leida Ringley and Anita Ringley; and brothers, Delmer, Dock, Jack and Carl Ringley. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society. Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
