Some of the Coe researchers have been trying to find a descendent of Elvira Davis born 1803 in Kentucky who married Samuel Coe born 1793 from Wilkes County Georgia. They were married May 11, 1826 in Wayne County, Kentucky. They had 11 Children (according to my records: James L. Coe 1827 Leanna Coe 1829 Alice (Alcey) Glasscot Coe 1831 Mary Coe 1833 Samuel W. Coe September 1834 Sarah T. Coe March 25, 1836 Nancy Coe 1839 Greenwood Coe 1840 Anna Marah Coe 1842 Joab O. Coe 1844 Joshua Coe 1847. We are trying to find a female descendent...daughter to daughter to daughter that we can contact. We would like to have a DNA test done in order to connect another line to this line. I have found a name that would be a possible descendent: I have been searching my file for a relative female to female on Elvira. I have found one. She apparently lives in Kentucky but I do not have an address or telephone number. I think they live in Somerset, Kentucky.
