Rigney, age 66, of Lewisville, passed away Tuesday morning, July 17th, 2007 at the Waters of New Castle following an extended illness. He was born April 19th, 1941 in Wayne County, Kentucky and was the son of the late Print H. and Flora (Daniels) Rigney. Lynon worked for many years with the City Tire Co. in New Castle and also was a volunteer with Civil Defense and Police Dept. He had attended both the Apostolic and United Pentecostal Churches in New Castle. He is survived by three daughters, Emma (husband-Scott) Choate, Jama Solomon, and Sandra (husband- Ralph) Little all of Lewisville; an adopted daughter , Tara Malone of New Castle; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Perry (wife-Jean) Rigney of New Castle; a half brother, J.D. Rigney of Tenn.; a half sister, Mary Rigney; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie K. Rigney (June 7th,2006), a son Harold E. Rigney (June 4th,2003). Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Friday, July 20th, 2007 at the Marcum Community Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Stroud officiating. Burial will follow at the Lewisville Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
