Guinn (b. 1/1/1910, d. 1/14/2000 Kennard, Henry County, IN), was the son of Grover Cleveland Guinn and Mary Alice (Alice) Penticuff (both buried at Lockett Chapel Cemetery, Wayne County, KY). Mr. Guinn's mother, Maudie Gossage Guinn (b. 11/19/1910, d. 4/25/1999 Kennard, Henry County, IN), was the daughter of William J. Gossage and Ozella Pearl (Pearl) Marcum (both buried at Elk Spring Cemetery (section 6), Wayne County, KY). ----------------------------------------------- Stanley H. Guinn (November 25, 1932 - July 21, 2007) STANLEY H. GUINN, 74, of Kennard and Greenfield business man passed away Saturday, July 21, 2007 at his home, after a brief illness. He was born November 25, 1932 in Monticello, KY to the late Wendell and Maudie (Gossage) Guinn. Stanley and his wife Mary have owned and operated, their family owned business, The Sweet Shop in Greenfield since 1971, where most of their family has worked at one time or another with some still working to this day. Stanley was an avid fisherman and bowler. He also enjoyed going to flea markets, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Stanley is survived by his wife of 37 years: Mary (Hiner) Guinn of Kennard; one daughter: Mona Gail (husband: Roger) Clark of Shelbyville; four sons: Marland (fiancé: Cherry) Guinn of Knightstown; Dennis (wife: Julie) Henderson of Spiceland; Kenny (wife: Melissa) Henderson of Shirley; and Monty (wife: Tina) Guinn of Greenfield; twelve grandchildren: Mindi Lloyd; Matt and Andy Lloyd; Michael Guinn; Ericka Young; Jared Henderson; Jessie and Zach Henderson; A.J. Fairchild; McKinley Henderson; Amanda and Cameron Guinn; eight great grandchildren; one brother: Gene (wife:Coretta) Guinn of South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents and his special uncle: A.C. Gossage Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service-Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Danny Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
