IF someone can answer previous question regarding tax lists, while looking can they look for the names of Robert Scott JOHN SCOTT Walter SCott HARRISON SCOTT or any other Scott that maybe in Wayne Co. Ancestor JOHN SCOTT was born 1818 in Wayne CO. supposedly. Fathers name may have been Robert but those names are names used for John's children so maybe someone is listed on Tax lists? Dear Friends and Cousins, As most of you know, we are in the process of selling our home. The Wayne County books are no longer available for sale until we are related which will probably be next spring or summer. This move has been a massive undertaking for Steve and I and we thank you for your patience. Is there anyone on the list who has access to the Wayne County tax lists between 1801-1810 who can do some lookups for me? I am looking for the exact year(s) these men first appeared on the Wayne County tax list(s) and, if it can be determined, whether they lived near each other: Francis Vickery William Vickrey William Neal Samuel Neal All four are on the Wayne County 1810 Census. William Vickrey and William Neal were next door to one another on the census record. I am trying to determine 1) who may have arrived together; 2) who may have been related. Thank you in advance.
