CAMPBELL DEAD One of the Oldest and Best Citizens of The County Passes Away Mr. John S. Campbell died Sunday morning at his home in the Three Springs neighborhood after a lingering illness of disease incident to old age. He had been in an unconscious condition for several days and his death was not a surprise. The funeral services were conducted from the residence this morning at 10 o'clock by Rev. J. F. Redford, and the interment was in the family burying ground. Mr. Campbell was one of the oldest and best known citizens of the county and was in his 89th year. He was born in Virginia but came to Kentucky a great many years ago and was one of the pioneers of Warren county. He was always an industrious man and worthy citizen and succeeded in amassing a considerable fortune. He raised a large family of children, all of whom are now among the best citizens of our county. Mr. Campbell had long been a consistent member of the Methodist church and died in the hope of a future reward. ___________________________________________________________________________
