    1. [KYWAR] Green River Union Cemetery
    2. Jann Grimes
    3. Does anyone have a more complete listing for this cemetery? The one I copied some time ago seems to be very incomplete. There is even a handwritten note on it saying it does not begin to cover the burials there. It has been brought to my attention by another researcher that there are many Grimes burials there that are not listed in my copy of the cemetery records. Would love to find a more updated list. Thank you for the help. Jann Grimes

Judith] Judith, Thanks for your response. There were actually two different men named Allen JONES who married two McCLANAHAN sisters, Jane and Anna. The two men are often confused. I'm sure they were related, but I have not proven it. I think they were either first cousins or uncle and nephew. The two McCLANAHAN sisters were the daughters of Thomas Marshall McCLANAHAN and Nancy Ann GREEN. Another sister, Elizabeth McCLANAHAN, married Harrison A. POWELL. I think that Mary Ann JONES who married Richard POTTER may possibly be the daughter of Allen JONES (1794-abt. 1845) who married Anna McCLANAHAN. Lavinia JONES, who married Caswell CARTER, was the daughter of Allen JONES (1769 - 1856) who married Jane McCLANAHAN. I am also posting this to the SCKY list and a couple of others in hopes that someone can help with further information. You will notice that these families often married into the POWELL family and some ended up in Henderson Co., KY. Any help at all will be greatly appreciated. 2. Carol Besette
    3. Hello list, I am looking for information about John Morrow, wife Mary, who froze to death in Logan/Warren Co KY in 1813 while trying to rescue some cattle that had become stranded on an island in the middle of a river. I don't know what river or exactly when in 1813. I would like to find a death record, gravesite, or something about him, his life, or his death, John and Mary came to Logan/Warren County from SC in 1805 or 1806 and had several of their children there. I would also wonder what happened to Mary Morrow after John's death as I have found nothing on her after that date. I thank you in advance for any information you may have.
