Ky Her mom was Charity Humble b. abt 1799 In the 1860 & 1870 census she was living with her son Joseph Humble. Joseph also named one of his daughters Charity. In the 1810 Shelby Co census there was a Unah Humble 1810 Henry Co " Paul & Michael I haven't been able to run my Humble line back to find Charity's maiden name or if her husband was also named George??? Thanks both to Winkler and Becky for info on the intersection of the Harmon and Humble families. This gives some helpful clues about Mary Ann, like her birth date, 1815, and her mother, Charity. Given the similar locale and that Charity also lived with Joseph, I suspect that Mary Ann and Joseph were siblings. And as I understand it, the 1820 census lists 5 Humble households. By first name (county), they are: 1. Esquire (Harrison) 2. Paul (Jefferson) 3. Uriah (Jefferson) 4. Canady (Mercer) 5. Robert (Woodford) In 1810, there are 7: 1. Noah (Bourbon) 2. Uriah (Bourbon) 3. Michael (Henry) 4. Paul (Henry) 5. Michael (Mercer) 6. Uriah (Shelby) 7. Robert (Woodford) If Mary Ann was born in KY, it seems more probably that one of these men is the father. Now, how to figure out which one...
