Dear Listers, Thanks to many of you who replied to my email about Sam Pryor who died in 1833. He was buried in Henry Co., but it became Trimble Co. later. He's still there. I checked and rechecked my resources and found I made a mistake. The most likely county he was sheriff of, was Henry Co., and that was before part of it became Trimble Co. I am already on the Henry County list and will ask about its old records. Tom the bewildered.
