    1. Re: [KYTRIMBLE] Kentucky Death Index
    2. Hi Again, JoAnn Did some additional looking around on Nancy "Kirk" Ungles. I believe the John Ungles that reported her death was her SON not her husband. I decided to look further into the 1860 Trimble Census and Nancy is listed as head of house with the following children: Nancy age 38 dau - Marsha age 15 Mary Ann age 14 John age 12 Sarah age 9 In the 1870 Ungles, Nancy age 44 America (this would be Marcia/Marsha ) age 23 Mary age 22 John age 19 Sallie age 18 In the 1880 Ungles, John age 30 Nancy - his mother - a widow age 57 Marchey (sister) age 33, single They don't appear in the 1900 so during those years must have made the move to Campbellsburg - So it makes sense that John Ungles reported the death of is mother, Nancy nee KIRK - John might have known his grandfathers' name Adam but perhaps didn't know his grandmothers. I hope this helps solve your mystery! I have a copy of this death certificate, and it is not Adam Kirk it is a Female and it lists her father as Adam Kirk Mother Don't know. It has no name on the death certificate but says she was 91 years 4 mos and 5 days old. It says her birth date was November 6, 1821 but it would have been 1820 if other is correct. She died in Campbellsburg, Henry County. The informant was John Ungles Campbellsburg. It says she was born in Trimble County. The undertaker is hard to read Meli??? & possibly Richardson. burial at Campbellsburg,
