Hi Jeff, Boy did I make a mistake. My eyes wandered down to the bottom of the page in FTM and I copied some information wrong. I will try again. I am trying to find out who William M. Pryor of Trimble County, KY was. My husband's grandmother, Adeline English Pryor Morgan, wrote a letter to the Dept. of the Army in Washington, DC concerning the records of William M. Pryor. I have no records of him. I also show no siblings of Adeline. Adeline was the daughter of Samuel P. Pryor and Elizabeth Samuel Bartlett. Elizabeth was aka Gammie or Sammie. Samuel was a child of George Woodford Pryor and Mary Connell. Their child William Connell Pryor is the only William I have in my data base that could have fought in the Civil War. I am wondering if maybe William M. was a first or second cousin or an Uncle. He is a complete mystery. Why would Adeline be so interested in him if he was not a relative of hers? It does not make any sense. The letter M. for his middle initial was underlined by the Dept. of Army so I am not confused as to the middle initial. Also, the letter was typed, not hand-written. If there are any takers out there that can help with this, I would be happy. I was correct with the parents of George Woodford Pryor. They were John "Jack" Pryor and Sally Duncan.
