    3. Hi Georgia, When I did some searching late last evening on familysearch, I found Culpepper as the place of birth for the Duncan family. It was late so I have not looked for any films available. I will have to wait a bit on that. I am trying to scan all the documents I do have into my FTM. I have procrastinated and it has taken me several days to get all the documents together. I have also run into a few questions, such as on William M. 3. Hi Sue: Yes, I knew the Duncan's came from Culpeper Co., VA. William Duncan came to Orange (later Culpeper) ca 1720. married Ruth Rawleigh, and had several children. The youngest son was my James Duncan that married Asenath (Sena) Their son, William was b. in Culpeper, as well as all of the children in his generation, and all the children in his dad's generation as well. You mentioned finding info on familysearch.com. Is that where you have to become a member before you can browse through it. I have ancestry.com where I am a member, but never have time to really get down and find much. Occasionally, I do go through a few census', and that's really good. I researched for many years, and now I'm trying to get all of my research into FTM, and that has been more demanding and time consuming than I ever dreamed it would be. I'd much rather be researching. I sure do appreciate all the good info you sent on the Pryor family. I'm curious as to which of the Connell men was her father. I think I do have names of some of the next generation, but I can't say for sure. I'm working on another family, and that is taking full time....that, and e-mail, and great grandkids. Did your grandmother leave any of William m. Pryor's records that she rec'd from Nation Archives, or would you have to go back and reorder them. That is probably the only way you'll find out about him, I thought of a possible way. If you are confident that he was in Kentucky, there should be some books on the men that enlisted, volunteered from Kentucky and find out that way if he was from Trimble, or some other county in Kentucky. Is there a website for Pryor families. I imagine there is. I belong to several for Duncan, Douglass, Robertson, plus others. I've had good luck by joining them and putting queries in for who I'm looking for. Thank you so very much.
