Becky, I noticed in the Trimble Democrat (1928-1949) that George P. Harmon married Mary Ann Humble, and that they had a dau. America Harmon. See this web page for more details. America Humble is said to have been born 18 Apr 1855, which would make Mary Ann and Joseph contemporaries. Given the time and locale they might even be related.
