Helen, the bulk of my info on this marriage came from the Ransey Joiner Jr. book on the Joiner/Joyner family of Trigg Co., KY. I do know that Ransey (he's now deceased) got his information from county records, cemetery records, family Bibles, census records, first hand conversations and correspondence, and other sources. Unfortunately, each piece of information isn't sited individually. Looking at what I have, I don't have a particular date of marriage and only have the one daughter listed. I have the daughter listed as Ella Mae Joiner-Moss. My guess is that he got the information from cemetery records for the daughter Ella Mae as this is the only child he has listed (1897-1917) and doesn't even give the marriage info for Ella Mae, if such exists. I even went back to the book to see if I missed anything and there isn't anything else. I went back to the acknowledgement page of the book and it listed Murray State Special Collections as a place of research that he used heavily. In the introduction, Ransey stated that both he and his father were the Superintendent of Maplewood Cemetery. Another source he used was the Trigg County Handbook -- Gateway to the Jackson Purchase by Mrs. Eurie Pearl Neel. In my research, I occasionally hear someone mention some book on Flat Lick Cemetery. Unfortunately, I don't have this and don't even know the real title of the book or pamphlet..or index...or whatever it is. Someone on the mailing list probably would know, I'd like that info myself. Hope that this helps some.
