Lizzie Ambie Joiner was born 23 Aug 1879 in Trigg Co., KY. She died 13 Jun 1902 and is buried in Flat Lick Cemetery in Christian co., KY. Her parents were James Burrell Joiner and Amanda Campbell. On 27 Dec 1899 she married Joseph Wesley Smith. Joseph was born 24 Aug 1876 and died 21 Sep 1945. He is buried in Flat Lick Cemetery. I don't know who Joseph's parents were nor whether he remarried after Lizzie's death. Lizzie and Josephs Children: 1. Elfrey Wayne Smith (b. 3 May 1901 in Big Rock, TN) m. Emma Lois Hargis (daughter of Desmond Hargis and Mary E. Shelton). 2. Lizzie Ambie Smith (b. 28 May 1902 in Big Rock, TN) m. Lacy K. Girffin (son of William J. Griffin and Nannie B. Peacher).
