This is from Cacky at [email protected] The plans are moving along for the Danville Crossing Homecoming 2000 to be held at the Lodge at Paris Landing , June 22-24th , 2000. Rooms at the lodge are still available, and we need 4 more reservations there, to get one of the meeting rooms for free. They are comparable to the other accommodations in the area, and they are trying to book the Danville Crossing people in rooms in one area of the lodge. Single and double rooms are $64/night ( $60 for Friday). Reservations can be made at 1-800-250-8614. Anyone interested in genealogy and history in Western Tennessee is welcome, particularly the counties of Benton, Dickson, Henry, Houston, Humphreys, & Stewart. There will be a lot of fun and a banquet I will tell you about later, and cousins by the dozens doing research together in the libraries and courthouses of the area. It will be a chance to compare and share your information, make new friends and get reacquainted with old, and put faces with the people you have " met" online. Make your plans to come!
