Thanks for the info on the city or town of Empire. I do hope that I can find out why Lorenzo Dow Ferguson moved his family there from Tennessee. I know of no connection with family at this time, however, one lady is checking into her Ferguson line for me. I wonder if anyone has any info on the Steamboats or tug boats out of this area. I had no idea that it was at the Land B.' the Lakes. My gggreat grandfather was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Paducah Lodge 127, and that was 1907 then he transferred his membership to Alabama 1913. Anyone have any insight in getting the orgininal application for membership to the Lodge. No one will or doesn't have time to look for me at the Lodge itself. C.J. Williams
