On LDS it shows the marriage of my GGG grandfather and mother, Elijah H. Morris and Martha Atwood to be in Trigg Co. I always thought that was an error until recently when I spoke with a man who said that many Smith co. TN. Morris' and Atwoods migrated north to Canton Ky. Not until I started researching that Co. did I realize how very many people with that surname were actually living in that area during the 1800s and continue today for all I know. Just trying to see if I can located more folks in my line in that area. Elijah's father was a Thomas and I think his father was a William Morris. Martha was the dau. of Edwin Young Atwood and Granddaughter of Gilbert Atwood. That line is documented but the Morris' one is a little obscure. If you have any info on these lines please let me know.
