Thank you for a quick response. My mother's maiden name was Mable Marie Nanney. She was born 8 Oct 1909 in Benton, Trigg County, KY. She was the daughter of Louis Clay Nanney and Bessie Helen Moore. Louis was the youngest of eight children born to Philip Jordan Nanney and Mary Emily Smith. I have quite a bit of information about them but am always looking for the unknown items which can add so much to the family archives. Several months ago I was in the Paducah area and located the Little Cypress Missionary Baptist Church which my mother's maternal grandfather, Armstead Moore, had pastored almost a hundred years ago. Also located the stall in the old farmer's market in downtown Paducah where the Nanney brothers made their living as butchers. Perhaps you might have some knowledge of this branch of the family? -----Original Message----- From: Robert Hale <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Tuesday, January 04, 2000 8:18 PM Subject: Re: [KYTRIGG] KYTRIGG Roll Call >Please email me privately regarding your NANNEY line..... >[email protected] >Thanks.....Kay Hale > >-----Original Message----- >From: Bev Cooke <[email protected]> >To: [email protected] <[email protected]> >Date: Tuesday, January 04, 2000 6:59 PM >Subject: [KYTRIGG] KYTRIGG Roll Call > > >>Searching NANNEY, MOORE, and BURNHAM families in and around Benton and >Cadiz areas circa 1850-1920. >> >> >>==== KYTRIGG Mailing List ==== >>This KYTRIGG list is currently available for adoption! >>Interested in becoming the list manager?
