Good Afternoon, It's been a long time since I posted my folks. I read all those roll call names and didn't see one of mine. Oh well...here goes: Albert Dillard Meredith b 4-4-1862 in Trigg Co married Margaret Isabell/Isabella Margaret Dunaway b 10-1868 somewhere in Kentucky. They married on 8-26-1886 in Trigg County. They had the following children: Dora 1887, Harry 1889, Nancy 1890, ?Mannie 1892, ?Cenie 1894, William Barnell 1896 (my grandfather), Sally 1899 (married a surname Terry), Margaret 1908, Grace 1909, Frederick 1910 and Francis Edward 1912. Albert's parents were: John P Meredith dob unknown (unable to determine by census) born in KY Martha Jane Johnson ca 1835 in KY (daughter of Thompson Johnson) John and Martha had the following children: (all born in Ky) SV 1849, Midda A. 1851, John T 1855, James M 1857, Albert Dillard 1862 and Faella 1867. On one census there was also a RNP listed. Margaret Isabell parents were (unproven to say the least!!) John Dunaway and Sarah J Carlew (possibly the daughter of William Tedford Carlew and Rhoda Chambers). On the 1880 Trigg county census the household is listed as follows: dunaway...sarah..j..31...housekeeping...ky...ky...ky dunaway...william..13...son...ky...tenn...ky dunaway..isibelle...12...dau... dunaway...thomas...10...son dunaway..elisa...8...dau duanway...samuel...6...son harrison...4...son (LDS records states he married alvie birdsong) Connections and corrections are always appreciated.
