I am not now nor have I ever been strictly a dates and places kinda person. I also wonder how my ancestors lived, why the lived there, things that took place while they lived there and so on. As the list owner, I want this to be a friendly list where information and ideas are exchanged. I have posted several descendant charts and questioned information that was posted by a couple of others. However, there is only about 4 to 5 people on this list that is posting any information at all. WE ARE A DEAD LIST. I would like for us to become more active and enthusiastic about our family history. Instead of complaining about what the others are doing....I posted the List rules on Sunday, Jan 23, 2000. this is who the list WILL be run. I hate to see anyone unsubscribe, but if that is what you feel you need to do, then I cannot stand in your way, now can I???? My question is, do you know the people that you are sharing information with??? Most of them are distant cousins, have you made that connection with them yet??? Can you name 10 other people that are on this list??? know the people that you are working with....know the people that well be in that "Old Genealogist Home" with you.
