Wayne, I can't help you with William Johnson Walker's parents, but am also searching for the parents of a Walker from that general area. I'm searching for the parents of John Barber Walker, born about 1832, probably in adjoining Christian County. Not positive of his place of birth and might be in Trigg or Todd or Hopkins County. He married Mary Ann Wicks on 29 Dec 1857 in Hopkins Co, KY. They had two daughters, Mary Elizabeth, born 1859 and Martha Olive, born in 1861, both in in Hopkins Co. John died in 1865 while in service during the Civil War. Do any of these names sound familiar and maybe connect to your William Walker?
