I'm not sure my previous attempt to leave a message was successful, so...... I am looking for information re: my family's geneology. My father's name was Solomon Boyd Vasseur (he passed away last year). Both he and his father, Albert Vasseur, were born and raised in Paducah, KY. My Dad told me that his grandparents (or great grandparents, I can't remember which) were originally based in New Orleans, and came up the Mississippi to settle in the Paducah area.
