Rufus Dorris Joiner was born 15 Aug 1897 and died 3 Oct 1926. He is buried in Smith Cemetery in Big Rock, TN. (NOTE: there is a notation by this info that Rufus "was murdered by a Negro." Rufus's parents were Nathan Shepard Joiner and Frances Claude Myers. On 6 Aug 1916, he married Neva Lee Edwards, the daughter of Cullum Daniel Edwards and Minnie Tomas Taylor. Children: 1.
