Walter Lee Joiner was born 16 Jul 1890 in Christian Co., KY. He died 27 Jul 1944 and is buried in Flat Lick Cemetery in Christian County, KY. He was the son of Thomas Hall Joiner and Sarah Elizabeth Weaver. On 25 Dec 1913 he married Velma Floy Green, the daughter of William Douglas Green and Ada May Harrell. Velma was born 25 Dec 1897. Walter and Velma had the following children: 1. Lee Ennis Joiner (b. 6 Aug 1915 in Hopkinsville, KY) m. Edwin Theodore Marquee (son of John Henry Marquee and Allie Maude Morris) 2. Walter Douglas Joiner (b. 30 May 1918 in Hopkinsville, KY) m. (1st) Evelyn Brame (daughter of Nuller and Beulah Brame) and (2nd) Viola Hopson (daughter of Richard Joel Hopson and Matilda Viola Shepherd). 3. unknown infant (6 Dec 1919 - 6 Dec 1919), buried Flat Lick Cemetery Any additions/corrections are appreciated.
