My great grandmother was Catherine Tally who married Jacob Anderson Williams in Ballard Co, KY ABT 1866/7. Her parents were Richard Leander or Leander Richard Tally and Lucy O. They are in the 1850 and 1860 Ballard Census, and the 1870 and 1880 Trigg Census (Leander Richard is missing from the 1880 Census, assume he has died) Catherine had a bro Napoleon B (N. B. in 1880 Trigg CensusJ). Napoleon married Mary S. Humphries 12/13/1877. They had a dau Maggie. There were 3 sisters to Napoleon, Mary, Leota, and Lucy. Mary Ellen m W. E. Humphries 12/20/1876 and they had children Ella and Tandy. Leota m Henry H. Humphries 11/23/1867. They had a dau Dora B. Lucy is home with Lucy O in the 1880 Census and is age 19. Would like to correspond with anyone with info on this family. Am trying to find the parents of Leander Richard and Lucy O's maiden name and parents. I have seen their ! name spelled both TALLY and TALLEY.
