STUNSON: Lucinda Everett, daughter of Sydnor Everett and Tabitha Owen, was born about 1802 in Oglethorpe County, GA. I don't know the name of her husband, but she apparently was married to him around 1818 or 1820, probably in Hopkins co., KY. The Everetts were listed on the 1820 census there. In 1840, Lucinda was in Trigg County, listed within a house or two of her parents, and apparently a widow with one son and two daughters. In 1850, she was in Monroe County, Arkansas, in the home of her younger brother, Sydnor Everett, Jr. I know very little more about the Stunsons, and have never been able to prove the name of her husband nor the marriage date. ....BettyC

I checked the Hopkins Co marriages, 1807-1868. There is no marriage for an Everett, male or female, recorded here.
