Will tell you someone who may be able to help you. Mrs Frances (Flynn) Gresham who is the daughter of Bill & Laura (Miller) Flynn. She is listed in the Hopkinsville phone book & address is: 302 Indian Trail. I bet she would love to talk to you about her family. Laura (Miller) Flynn was my great aunt & I barely remember her. The last time I saw her was some years ago when I went to the nursing home where she was staying. Took her sister, Pat (Miller) Cox there for a visit. Aunt Laura didn't remember who I was, but recognized her sister after a while. She was 96 or 97 years old at the time. Uncle Jim - James David Miller, was my great uncle. I'm excited that you are researching his family for his daughter. Which daughter are you helping? I have a few things on the Blakeley, Bryant, & Miller families, but it was given to me by a cousin, Pearlie Mae Hancock, & she said some of the information came from Uncle Jim's family. So what I have is probably what you already have. My Dad was Elbert Harvey Mitchell. He was born in Cadiz in 1923 to Ogman Amos & Virginia (Miller) Mitchell. Daddy is gone now & I'd give anything to have been more interested in family history research while he was still with us. I have an old picture album of Daddy's that I have copied pictures out of & sent to Amos & Dorothy (Miller) Ladd to see if they could identify some of the people in them. The pages in the book are so old & crumbled that the writing under the pictures has broken away or faded out. Amos has identified some & we even found a picture of his mother in there too. There is a picture of James David Miller holding his daughter - Flora Ellen Miller, & one of his father - Miles "Pa" Miller & of his mother - Fannie "Big Grannie" (Blakeley) Miller. I would be glad to send copies of these if would like, & will tell me where to mail them. Don't know if any of this has been a help. I know I've rattled on alot & wish I could help with the Flynns, but maybe Frances c! an be of some help for you. Besides her, there are two other sisters & three brothers still living. Earlier this year, I took my Mother to see Pearlie Mae Hancock (she is my Dad's cousin) & we went to visit Frances. Pearlie Mae wanted me to meet some of Daddy's other cousins that I had never known. She is such a sweet lady & in her 80's , but certainly doesn't look it. Please let me know how all this turns out. Hope to hear back from you soon. Becky
