While I don't have this info, I am looking for the parents of Thomas McLaughlin Scott. He appears on the 1850 census of Lawrence Co., Tenn as being born in Kentucky in 1807. Does he sound familiar to you? I recently corresponded with another Scott cousin who said she has traced him to Trigg Co.
