He had a brother named Peter Pilkinton who was born abt 1829. Dury's Father was Ambrose Pilkinton born abt. 1774, his Mother was Adar ( Elely ) Heath. His Parents were Married Dec 4th 1812 in Gulford county NC. Ambrose Pilkinton's Father was Nicanor Pilkinton who was born in VA. abt 1755. This Drury Pilkinton had a son James Franklin Pilkinton. he was born abt 1835. He married Mary A. ???? This couple had 2 children They were Ellen Pilkinton and James H. Pilkinton. I have no birth dates.... This is all the info I have and I hope it is of help. If this is your relation. We are related by Ambrose Pilkinton. He was my 3rd generation grand father's brother.
