Braxton Wall is listed in the index with the reference to page 52. Do you know of any place that I could order a copy made of that page. Would a library in Trigg County have a copy of the publication? That book that some of these are in is the Mabry Journal which I am typing - from microfilm... What I have is all obituaries and clippings - so the rest must be at Margaret I King Library and not microfilmed.. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, February 18, 2000 2:01 PM Subject: Re: [KYTRIGG] PIONEER FAMILIES > Okay. Okay. At the end of the site it states a list of Trigg people that were in Trigg and are mentioned in the book or papers whichever it is and that it can be seen at the University of Kentucky Library. I would like to see it but I am in Kansas. Is there any way to get an inter library loan or are there copies one can buy. Kaye

Folks, Tonight I have learned that on no less that five lists last week's column was forwarded (THAT is fine, ok, and I have no prob...in fact I am honored) EXCEPT that in these instances, the beginning was deleted, words added to the ending, the title changed, and another name apparently assuming credit. I ask you to watch for any abuses of this column and to let me know on what list they were received. I am frequently asked for permission to share these columns, and I grant it, but only with the idea that they are shared ethically and as written. Thanks, jan John 3:16 Future Resident, artist, scribe-in-residence, general troublemaker of the Old Genealogists Home, best kept secret in America Listowner: [email protected] [email protected] Listowner: [email protected]

I have to reply to this site after I checked this link. I don't like it. If you type your name into it, it brings up information on you!! How easy for someone that wants to steal an identity and destroy someones life!!!!!!!!!!! I do understand that it can be done even if someone rumages through your garbage or goes via the postal system to obtain something but now all they have to do is sit at a computer and pick!!!!!!!!!!! I don't even give out personal information on myself for these reasons and it is one reason why. How can a person stop a site from having this? If it were deceased people only, no problem, but not those living. Kaye
I don't know if this will mean anything to anyone on these lists, but my uncle gave me a copy of the STEVENSON FAMILY 1748 - 1979 book that was published in 1979. It was put together by Rev. Samuel Harris Stevenson, Rev. J.A. Harris, Hon. W.F. Stevenson, and Miss Mabel K. Stevenson. If anyone is interested, I will summarize the preface and introduction so that you can see which Stevenson branch this is referring to. The patriarch of this family is William "Little Gabriel" Stevenson (1725 - 1809) of Ireland. Kathy in FL [email protected]
