I can find them in 1860 and 1880. Does any one have an index to 1870 to look up? Can you makeout where Jessee's parents were born? Other children are John H. and William A. Deb: They don't appear in the AIS Census Indices for Todd County, 1870. There are 3 households, John, Henry and Martha Brewer, and John and Henry Brewer don't match the family profile as I see it in the 1880 census. In the 1880 census, Jessee's mother 's birthplace is recorded as NC. His father was born in one of the Carolinas, but the first letter is too faint for me to read reliably. The LDS has Jessee's father born NC.
