Perhaps you could help me some more. I have a problem with James G. Brumfield that I am trying to straighten out. Other researchers have James as marrying Mary Lea or Mary Seay on 6/17/1795 in Campbell County, VA. They have James birth date as Before 1775. One researcher has James first marriage to Mary Seay in 1795 and second marriage to Mary Keeling in 1805. They also cite James' birth as Before 1775. The problem I have, is that in the Todd Co. KY 1850 census, James age is listed as 70 which puts his birth around 1780. If his age is correct, then a 1795 first marriage would be possible but questionable. Do you know where the 1805 marriage to Mary Keeling took place? I would like to document everything that I can, as this is one of my direct lines. Thank you, ED
