I just received my great-great grandmother's death certificate. FINALLY! Although there are errors regarding her birth date, I've no doubt the info about her parents is correct. Now, I'm looking for information on JOHN QUALLS & his wife, BETTY SHERROD. Betty could be short for ELIZABETH. Also, SHERROD is likely SHERRARD, as my gg grandmother, Sarah Elizabeth Qualls, was living with the family of SAMUEL SHERRARD on the 1870 Todd county census. At this time, SAMUEL SHERRARD was 67. His wife, 63. There is also a SAMUEL QUALLS living there. Guess this SHERRARD family might be her grandparents! This road has been a toughie, folks.
