J W Latham. 2nd sp. Wm. Henry Bivins DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. Nevelyn Blanchard Bivins, 80, of Dawson Springs, died at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2002, at her residence. She was born in Hopkins County on Sept. 21, 1921, to the late Field S. and Elizabeth House Blanchard. She was a LPN and worked at Kentucky Rest Haven for several years and also at the Hopkins County Hospital. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Dawson Springs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Elwood Latham in 1944; her second husband, William H. Bivins in 1986; one daughter, Paula Bivins Jimenez in 1991; three sisters, Helen Barber, Jiletta Bivins and Jean Riddle; and one brother, Joe Blanchard. She is survived by five daughters, Linda Latham Meredith of Aurora, Ill., Betsy Bivins Franks and Kathy Bivins Hickerson, both of Dawson Springs, and Jan Bivins Nicholson and Tammy Bivins Walker, both of Madisonville, Ky.; three sons, J.G. Woody Latham and Frankie Bivins, both of Madisonville, and Mark Bivins of Dawson Springs; two sisters, Jewel Brown of Madisonville, and Dorothy Woodring of Missouri; 25 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Harold Coomer officiating. The body will be cremated. Burial of the ashes will be in Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville. There will be no visitation. This was my aunt! Pattie
