The major brick wall in my search is Willliam H. Keeling, born between 1770 and 1780, I have no idea where. I know that he was married and had children BEFORE he married my 2Xgreat grandmother, as shown below. (wife #2) married Feb. 17, 1830 in Todd Co. KY to Catherine M. GRUMBLEY, b. VA abt. 1802. She was the dghtr of John S. GRUMBLEY and Esther TWITCHETT, of Rockingham Co. VA, who were married 10/23/1801. William appears in the 1820 Todd Co. KY census, which unfortunately lists no names but his own as head of household. Therefore we have no name for his then wife or any of his children by that marriage. I am casting a wide net here, posting again to six KY counties and one Tennessee county that I know has KEELINGs living there. If there was a KEELING family bible, it must have gone to a child from the first marriage, because no child of the second marriage had one. Happy New Year to all. Janet Keeling Daily
