Obit: Mrs. Eliza [WATKINS] COLEMAN has gone to her reward. Seventy-eight years and three months...Forty-five years...a member of the Methodist Church. She was converted at old Piney Green Camp-groun, in Dinwiddie Co, VA..in 1832 Her maiden name was WATKINS. Her husband was Edwin N. COLEMAN. In 1842 the family immigrated to Kentucky...greatly beloved...the sad years of her widowhood were spent in trying to lead her children to meet their father in heaven...She was attacked by paralysis, while on a visit to her daughter [Mary Anna COLEMAN CLARKE], and died at the resident of her son-in-law, Captain CLARKE, near Auburn, KY., after an illness of nine days...She was born in VA, Oct. 17, 1798, and died in KY., Jan. 27, 1877.
